Terms of Service
A legal disclaimer
Effective Date: 8/20/2026

Welcome to Scooper Dooper LLC ("Scooper Dooper," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the pet waste removal services provided by Scooper Dooper LLC to our customers ("Customer," "you," or "your").
By scheduling, purchasing, or continuing to receive services from Scooper Dooper, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

1. Our Services
Scooper Dooper provides residential dog waste removal and related pet waste cleanup services in our designated service areas.
Services may include:
-
Scheduled dog waste removal
-
One-time or initial yard cleanups
-
Recurring weekly service
-
Recurring twice-weekly service
-
Recurring bi-weekly service
-
Recurring monthly service
-
Other pet waste removal services agreed upon by Scooper Dooper and the Customer
Service pricing is based on factors including the number of dogs, approximate yard size, service frequency, and the condition of the property.
We reserve the right to provide a customized quote when a property or cleanup falls outside our standard service parameters.

2. Initial and Overdue Yard Cleanups
An initial cleanup may be required before recurring service begins.
Initial cleanups are quoted separately based on the condition of the property and the amount of waste present. Factors considered may include the amount of accumulated waste, number of dogs, yard size, accessibility, and estimated time required.
The Customer will receive the applicable initial-cleanup quote before the work is performed. Recurring service will not begin until the initial cleanup has been completed or otherwise addressed.
If the condition of the yard is substantially different from what was represented when the quote was provided, Scooper Dooper may revise the quote before beginning work.

3. Service Area and Property Access
Customers are responsible for providing Scooper Dooper with reasonable access to the areas scheduled for service.
This may include:
-
Unlocked gates
-
Accessible side yards
-
Clearly identifiable property boundaries
-
Safe pathways to the service area
If a gate is locked or access is otherwise unavailable, we may be unable to complete the scheduled service.
Customers should notify Scooper Dooper of any special access instructions before the scheduled visit.

4. Pets and Animal Safety
For everyone's safety, dogs and other animals should be secured whenever Scooper Dooper personnel are entering or working in the yard.
Scooper Dooper may refuse or discontinue service if an animal is behaving aggressively, presents a safety concern, or prevents our team from safely completing the work.
Customers are responsible for informing us about animals on the property that may pose a safety concern.
Scooper Dooper is not responsible for pets that escape through an improperly secured gate, door, fence, or other access point that was not properly secured by Scooper Dooper personnel.

5. Yard Conditions and Service Limitations
Our standard service involves locating and removing reasonably accessible dog waste from designated outdoor areas.
We may be unable to remove waste that is:
-
Buried or substantially covered by soil
-
Frozen into the ground
-
Hidden beneath dense vegetation
-
Located beneath structures or inaccessible objects
-
In an area that presents an unreasonable safety hazard
-
Mixed with excessive amounts of debris or other material
-
Outside the designated service area
Scooper Dooper is not responsible for waste that cannot reasonably be located or accessed.
Customers should keep toys, tools, hoses, lawn equipment, furniture, and other objects reasonably organized so that service can be performed efficiently.

6. Lawn and Property Conditions
Scooper Dooper's service is limited to pet waste removal.
We do not provide lawn mowing, landscaping, gardening, pressure washing, or general yard cleanup unless separately agreed upon in writing.
Scooper Dooper will use reasonable care while performing services but is not responsible for ordinary wear or pre-existing conditions involving:
-
Grass
-
Landscaping
-
Irrigation systems
-
Fences
-
Gates
-
Decorative items
-
Outdoor equipment
-
Other property conditions
Customers should identify underground or concealed equipment that may be located in areas where service is performed.

7. Service Frequency and Scheduling
Scooper Dooper may offer recurring service at the following frequencies:
-
Twice Weekly: Two scheduled visits per week
-
Weekly: One scheduled visit per week
-
Bi-Weekly: One scheduled visit every other week
-
Monthly: One scheduled visit per month
Specific service days and approximate service windows may vary based on route scheduling, weather, holidays, and operational needs.
Scooper Dooper may adjust a customer's service day or time when reasonably necessary to improve route efficiency or accommodate operational changes. We will provide notice when practical.

8. Weather and Other Service Interruptions
Severe weather, unsafe driving conditions, excessive heat, flooding, snow, ice, or other circumstances may make service unsafe or impractical.
When conditions prevent service, Scooper Dooper may reschedule the visit. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate schedule changes to the Customer.

9. Holidays
Scooper Dooper may modify its regular service schedule around major holidays.
When a scheduled service falls on or near a holiday, we may adjust the service date and will provide notice when practical.
Recurring billing will generally continue according to the customer's subscription unless otherwise communicated.

10. Pricing and Payment
Customers agree to pay the applicable monthly service charge associated with their selected service plan.
Recurring services are billed monthly, regardless of whether the selected service frequency is twice weekly, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
There is no minimum service commitment. Customers may cancel recurring service at any time, subject to any payment already due for the current billing period.
A Customer's monthly price may change if the service requirements change, including changes to the number of dogs, yard size, or service frequency. Any applicable price change will be communicated to the Customer.

11. Payment Processing
Scooper Dooper may use third-party payment processors, including Square, to process payments.
By enrolling in recurring service and providing payment information, you authorize Scooper Dooper and its payment processor to charge the applicable monthly amount according to your selected service.
Customers are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method.
If a scheduled payment is declined or otherwise fails, Scooper Dooper will make reasonable attempts to process the payment again and/or contact the Customer regarding the outstanding balance.
Service will be paused while an account has an outstanding unpaid balance. Service will resume once the account has been brought current and a valid payment method is available.

12. Past-Due Accounts
If a payment remains unpaid, Scooper Dooper may temporarily suspend service until the account is brought current.
We may also decline to schedule additional services while an outstanding balance remains unpaid.
Any applicable fees associated with failed payments or collection of unpaid balances will be disclosed where applicable.

13. Changes to Your Service
Customers should notify Scooper Dooper if there is a material change to the property or service requirements, including:
-
Adding or removing dogs
-
Moving to a different property
-
Changing yard access
-
Changing service frequency
-
Changes to fencing or gates
-
Adding areas that require service
A change in service requirements may result in a change to the monthly service price.

14. Cancellation and Pausing Service
Customers may cancel their recurring Scooper Dooper service at any time. There is no minimum service commitment.
Cancellation will stop future recurring charges after the applicable cancellation has been processed. Charges that have already been processed for the current billing period are generally not refundable solely because the Customer cancels before the end of that billing period.
Customers may not skip individual scheduled service visits. If a Customer does not want service during a particular period, they may cancel their recurring service and re-enroll at a later date.
Scooper Dooper may also suspend or terminate service when necessary because of safety concerns, unpaid balances, repeated access issues, or other circumstances described in these Terms.

15. Missed Access and Customer-Caused Service Interruptions
If Scooper Dooper arrives during the scheduled service window but cannot safely access the property because of circumstances within the Customer's control, we may be unable to complete the scheduled service.
Examples include:
-
Locked gates
-
Inaccessible yards
-
Aggressive or unsecured animals
-
Unsafe property conditions
-
Customer activities preventing access
Customers should ensure that reasonable access is available on each scheduled service day.
Repeated access issues may result in suspension or cancellation of service.

16. Satisfaction Guarantee
If you believe Scooper Dooper missed a reasonable amount of dog waste during a scheduled service, please contact us within 10 hours of the completed service.
When appropriate, Scooper Dooper may return to address the missed area at no additional charge.
Our satisfaction policy applies to waste that was reasonably accessible and within the normal scope of the scheduled service. It does not apply to waste that was hidden, inaccessible, frozen, buried, or otherwise outside the reasonable scope of service.

17. Refunds and Credits
Because Scooper Dooper provides physical services at a customer's property, refunds are evaluated based on the circumstances of the situation.
If a service was not completed because of an error on our part, Scooper Dooper may, at its discretion:
-
Reschedule the service
-
Provide a service credit
-
Issue an appropriate refund
Refunds are not generally provided for circumstances caused by the Customer, including inaccessible property, unsafe animals, or failure to provide reasonable access.

18. Waste Handling and Disposal
Scooper Dooper will collect dog waste during the scheduled service.
Collected waste will generally be double-bagged and placed in the Customer's designated outdoor trash receptacle or another reasonably safe location on the property.
Scooper Dooper does not routinely remove collected dog waste from the Customer's property for off-site disposal.
Customers are responsible for notifying Scooper Dooper if their designated trash receptacle does not have sufficient space for the collected waste. If the trash receptacle cannot be used, Scooper Dooper will determine a reasonably safe and appropriate location on the property where the double-bagged waste can be left.
Scooper Dooper will not leave waste in a location that presents an obvious safety concern or where it would reasonably interfere with normal use of the property.

19. Prohibited or Hazardous Materials
Scooper Dooper's standard service is limited to dog waste and does not include removal of hazardous materials or unknown substances.
We will not knowingly handle:
-
Needles or sharps
-
Chemical substances
-
Human waste
-
Dead animals
-
Broken glass
-
Other hazardous materials
If hazardous materials are encountered in the service area, Scooper Dooper may stop work in that area.
Customers should notify us about known hazards before service.

20. Customer Property and Damage
Scooper Dooper will make reasonable efforts to avoid damage to customer property.
Customers are responsible for identifying fragile, concealed, or unusually vulnerable property located within the service area.
If you believe Scooper Dooper has caused property damage, please notify us as soon as reasonably possible so that the matter can be investigated.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive rights or protections that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

21. Liability
Scooper Dooper will perform its services using reasonable care.
To the extent permitted by Indiana law, Scooper Dooper is not responsible for injuries, losses, or damages resulting from conditions outside our reasonable control, including unsafe property conditions, unsecured animals, defective fences or gates, concealed hazards, or pre-existing property conditions.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability to the extent such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

22. Photos and Service Documentation
Scooper Dooper may take photographs of service areas when reasonably necessary to document service conditions, property access, completed work, or other service-related matters.
We will not intentionally photograph people in a manner unrelated to providing or documenting our services.
Any use of customer property photographs for advertising or promotional purposes will be subject to applicable consent requirements.

Marketing communications will be handled in accordance with applicable law and any required consent or opt-out procedures.

24. Referral Programs
Scooper Dooper may offer referral promotions from time to time.
Referral rewards, discounts, or credits will be subject to the specific terms of the promotion being offered at that time.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue referral promotions.

25. Changes to Services and Pricing
Scooper Dooper reserves the right to modify its services, service areas, pricing, or operating policies.
For recurring customers, material changes to recurring charges will be communicated before they take effect.
Continued use of the service after a communicated change may constitute acceptance of the updated terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

26. Changes to These Terms
We may periodically update these Terms of Service.
The current version will be made available through the Scooper Dooper website.
Changes will generally become effective when posted unless a different effective date is stated.

27. Governing Law
These Terms will be governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute will be handled in accordance with applicable Indiana law and in a court having appropriate jurisdiction.

28. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

29. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with any applicable service agreement, pricing information, and other written terms provided by Scooper Dooper, constitute the agreement between Scooper Dooper and the Customer regarding the services provided.
If a separate written agreement contains terms that specifically conflict with these Terms, the terms of the separate agreement will control to the extent of the conflict.
